This game is based on the universe of the game Gothic developed by Piranha Bytes in 2001. Fans of the Gothic series will find original elements of their favorite game like locations, NPC's, weapons, armors and level system plus special features adapted for multiplayer.
Even those of you who never played the original Gothic game may try this and discover an exciting game with a varied universe, fierce competition and deadly secrets.
Original Universe
Explore the original locations from the series. Although this is not a 3D game as the original one, you can still travel through the colony in a point and click environment.
You will find the three well known camps in the penal colony of Khorinis, and the outside world which is (as expected) filled with dangerous monsters.
From the inoffensive Juvenille Scavenger to hungry Wolves and the deadly Shadowbeast, you'll find them all.
Well known Characters
You will find well known characters from the original game universe. Players can interact with favorite NPCs like Diego, Milten, Thorus, Gorn or even the mysterious Xardas.
You can talk with these characters, ask them for directions, trade with them, ask them to train you or even challenge them to fights earning you gold and experience.
Multiplayer Interactions
This is not just a game inspired from Gothic and played using a web browser. This is a multiplayer game so be prepared to interact with many other players form all around the world.
In the Old Camp Arena, players can challenge each other while viewers will bet for the victory of one or another. In the market place players trade their items with each other while Skip will offer special items in exciting auctions. Also you can always see on the map where other players are and outside of the safe camps, robberies may take place.
